Cancellation of the Queen’s Birthday Parade

The parade to celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, which was scheduled to be held at Victory Green on Wednesday 21 April 2021, has been cancelled due to the period of Royal Mourning following the death of His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

A book of condolence is available for the public to sign in the porch of Government House until 5pm on Saturday 17 April. Another book of condolence is being carried via the Falkland Islands Government Air Service (FIGAS) aircraft for people in Camp and the Outer Islands to sign, should they wish to do so. Details of the aircraft carrying the book will be publicised when FIGAS confirm their estimated times of arrival.
