Public Works Department - Plant Operator/Handyperson

Working within the Highways Department you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of roads and road surfaces, installation of drainage systems and haulage of various materials. This will include operating and maintaining plant and equipment and any other duties as directed by the Foreman/Immediate Supervisor.

Learning Support Assistants – FICS & IJS&CE

FICS & IJS&CE are looking for full time LSA to work Mon-Fri 08.00 – 16.30 for both Primary & Secondary Schools. The posts involve supporting and assisting students with their educational and social progress and helping develop their learning and understanding. Essential criteria for the role include evidence of a good level of literacy and numeracy i.e. GCSE Grade 4 / C or above (or equivalent), in English and Maths, an ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative and a capacity to work with children with behavioural and emotional needs in order to improve their social skills. Applicants must also have patience, flexibility, the ability to prioritise tasks and be competent at delivering instructions.
