User habits survey 2021

A Government review of satellite provision will commence later in 2021, to consider the need for satellite capacity from December 2022. The results of this survey will contribute to calculating the international connectivity demands of the Falkland Islands providing a clearer picture of what a ‘typical household’ requires. It is important that future decisions are informed by clearly evidenced requirements for future broadband across the business and residential sectors. Without a strong response, the survey data cannot carry the weight that residents warrant.

The survey runs from Monday 3 to Monday 31 May.
