The Falkland Islands Government is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We don’t collect personal data and we don’t use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you.
When you visit our website, we only collect high level information about your visit to our website, including the uniform resource locator (URL) clickstream to, through and from the site (including date and time) pages you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visit to certain pages, referral sources, page interaction information (such as scrolling and clicks) and methods used to browse away from the page. We use this information to continue to improve your overall user experience as well as the content that we produce.
The only exceptions to this are as follows:

Budget Overview 2021/2022
Stability and continuity are at the heart of the Falkland Islands Government Budget for 2021/22. The Budget recognises these two themes are essential in the time of continued uncertainty stemming from the global COVID-19 pandemic and the work on global recovery.
The operating budget for 2021/22 is £77.0 million (excluding internal recharges) and a capital programme of £53.5 million budget, with the main areas of investment for the coming 12 months including:
- £24.6m for health and wellbeing
- £10.1m for education and training
- £11.6m on radio, transportation, infrastructure and communications
- £8.0m on protecting the environment
