11 November 2020 – Addressing Specific Concerns Q&A

Following our first positive civilian Covid-19 test result we appreciate that our community will have specific concerns relating to the situation. We have tried to identify these concerns and to address them below. Please note, these questions and answers are accurate as of 10 November and may be subject to change should circumstances alter.

14 July - Undertaking quarantine at home

Please call the KEMH on 28000 if you have any questions or if you feel unwell and want further advice. If you are unwell and need to phone for advice please tell the hospital that you are currently in quarantine as you have recently arrived from overseas.

03 July 2020 - Social Distancing and Bubbles Clarification

Whilst we are confident that the recent outbreak of COVID-19 that we saw in the Islands in April this year has been closed down, this doesn’t mean that we should become complacent.

03 July 2020 - Tour Guide Guidance

The below guidance points are specific for tour guides and drivers offering services to the domestic market. It is recommended that businesses offering tour services to the domestic market utilise these points in conjunction with the general Guidance for the Workplace released on 7 May 2020.

04 June 2020 - Guidance For Cinemas

The Falkland Islands Government on 3 June 2020, announced it was appropriate to ease some restrictions put in place in late March in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. For cinemas, this easing of restrictions will take effect Friday 19 June.
