Background & Qualifications:
Sean is a Chartered Engineer who has moved from onshore civil engineering projects into environmental impact assessment of energy projects worldwide having undertaken mature studies in Environmental Management. Sean has worked in environmental consultancy, in oil companies and for an island electrification project and has contributed to industry best practice in discharges of produced water, oil spill liabilities and managing critical equipment. Latterly Sean was Environmental Technical Lead at OPRED, the oil and gas environmental regulator in Aberdeen, supporting the Net Zero transition. Sean’s work on Falkland Islands projects during his career has led him to work here where enjoys the community, way of life and natural beauty of the Islands.
