How to Join The Library

To sign up as a member of the library, just come along and speak a librarian.  No ID or proof of address is needed.

To join the library from camp email the librarian on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 27134. 

We do not have library cards, on subsequent vists you will just be asked your name when you check out your items.

We are open 6 days a week

Monday to Friday
09.00 – 12.00
1.30 – 5.45

Saturdays
10.00 – 12.00
1.00 – 4.00

 

What can members of the library borrow?

We have a great selection books, magazines, audio books and dvds for member of the library to borrow.

As an adult member of the library you can borrow up to 6 items and as a junior member you can borrow up to 4 items.

 Book 3 weeks
 Magazines 3 weeks
 Audio Books (CDs) 3 weeks
 Music CD 1 week
 DVDs 1 week

 

Library Charges

 DVD 1-2 discs (Film) £2.00 per week
 DVD 3 or more discs (Box Set) £3.00 per week
 Music CDs £1.60 per week

 

Photocopying

 Black & White A4 21p per sheet
 Black & White A3 42p per sheet

 

Late Fees

Late fees on adult books are only applied after the loan period has expired by one week.  The late fees are then:

Books Adult  15p per day (£8 maximum charge per book)
Books borrowed by children and under-16 No charge
DVDs Hire charge will be reapplied
Music CDs Hire charge will be reapplied

 

  Additional Services

  • LIBBY - our on-line library. E-books and audiobooks available to download for FREE. To find out more click the E library tab at the top of the page.
  • Outreach service - In special circumstances, books, magazine and DVDs, can be delivered to those unable to come to the library due to isolation or ill health.
  • Free postage to camp. We are happy to select books and post them free of charge to camp.
