Job Title: Junior Helpdesk Engineer

Falkland Islands Government Grade: E1 starting salary £28,982-£33,332 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

The Opportunity: to provide 1st line IT support to end users and assist in hardware and software rollouts across the FIG network, as well as maintaining the infrastructure in order to deliver that service.

Essential criteria to include Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, minimum five GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think creatively. The postholder should have a keen interest in ICT and the ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of desktop PC and Microsoft product suites.

Contract Type: This a fixed term position offered for one year on standard FIG terms and conditions.
