Falkland Islands Government FIG Grade A1: starting salary £85,371 to £97,894 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
The Opportunity: The successful candidate will provide the strategic leadership of education and learning across the Falkland Islands, ensuring all associated activities are aligned to current needs and can adapt to emerging needs across the Islands. The successful candidate will enable continuous development of education to ensure there are robust performance and improvement processes across all departments that informs the development of learning opportunities available.
Essential criteria required for the role include, educated to the equivalent of first-degree level with evidence of significant continuous professional development and professional qualifications in a relevant subject area. The successful candidate must also hold a substantial background in a recent senior management position within the UK education sector including management of significant budgets and staff numbers.
