Falkland Islands Government FIG Grade A starting salary £57,216 to £65,584 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
The Opportunity: To be responsible for the strategic development of the Falkland Islands Maritime Administration, Legal and Regulatory Framework ensuring compliance with maritime legislation, conventions, and codes.
Essential criteria to include being educated to Degree level in a Maritime discipline, with experience of working in the maritime regulatory environment or have extensive demonstrable experience of the maritime regulatory sector and experience of operating at a senior management level. The post holder must also have a minimum of five years’ demonstrable experience managing and developing maritime statutory compliance and safety management in a senior capacity or a minimum of five years’ experience gained in a maritime legal/regulatory environment.
