Falkland Islands Government Grade: I Starting Salary £16,720 - £18,490 per annum depending on experience (Casual Rate £8.57 - £9.48 per hour)

The Opportunity: Applications are invited to fill full time or casual labourers’ vacancies in the Materials Section of PWD. Applicants will be required to carry out unskilled and occasionally semi-skilled physical tasks using manual and powered tools in an efficient and safe manner, along with routine maintenance to tools and equipment to ensure optimum operation and safety. Essential criteria for the role include being numerate and literate with a good physical stamina. There may be an opportunity for the necessary training to be provided to enable the successful applicants to be promoted to Plant Operator/Handyperson.
