Job Title: Legal Support Officer

Falkland Islands Government Grade: F Starting Salary £23,175 - £26,719 per annum dependant on qualifications and experience

The Opportunity: To provide support to legal officers in Government Legal Services to enable the provision of a comprehensive legal service to the Falkland Islands Government. The post holder will also act as the initial point of contact for Chambers including dealing with Government land enquiries, providing legal advice specific to the land disposals process; notarial & commissioner for oaths service; referring more complex matters for consideration by Crown Counsel. Essential Criteria include 4 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4/C or above, including English and maths, have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including good experience with standard office equipment, excellent numeracy skills and be able to work unsupervised, meet deadlines while ensuring good attention to detail and have the proven ability to record information quickly and accurately (minute-taking).
