Falkland Islands Government Grade: As this is a succession planned role the successful applicant will, depending on their qualifications, skills and experience, be appointed to either Grade E2 (salary range beginning at £26,211 per annum) or Grade D2 (salary range beginning at £32,461 per annum).

The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to join FIG’s HR team, working closely with staff and managers across the organisation to provide efficient, customer focused HR service. Whether as a fully qualified Advisor or Trainee, the post holder will be responsible for providing generalist support, undertaking a range of people focused activities including recruitment, employee relations and exciting project work!

At FIG we are committed to developing our staff so there are lots of opportunities in this role to broaden your knowledge, learn new skills and gain new qualifications.  As a succession planned role, candidates interested in the Trainee position will be provided with a full training programme that supports the individual in achieving their full potential.

Applicants entering the programme at the Trainee level, will require a minimum of an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent in an appropriate field is required along with 5 years plus relevant work experience in a similar role covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures in a busy environment.  Candidates for the HR Advisor position must be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and possess Chartered CIPD Membership.
