Falkland Islands Government Grade E1: Starting Salary £26,211 - £30,214 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
The Opportunity: The Office Manager has responsibility for running a busy and varied office covering all central DCS departments and providing support to DCS public-facing services. As well as diary management and organising meetings, this role has charge of payroll, budget monitoring, day-to-day communication within FIG and with contractors, businesses and the public, and ensuring the smooth running of the office. Reporting to the Director, this role will suit someone with experience of office administration and budget management processes, who enjoys taking charge of their own workload and is happy to turn their hand to a variety of office administration and management tasks. Essential criteria for the role include GCSE Maths & English (Grade A-C or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in office administration. The candidate must also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts and budget control.
