This is a time of unprecedented change and challenge for the Falkland Islands as oil and gas exploration, along with traditional industry growth, continues to place pressure on the existing infrastructure on the Islands.

The Falkland Islands Government is responding to these challenges and is supporting infrastructure developments through an ambitious programme of activity over the next several years which will include the development of a new deep water port, associated industrial space, new road and utilities infrastructure and the potential re-development of an existing local airport facility.

These are multi-million pound projects and are at the very early stages of design and procurement.

The initial support we are now seeking is help in progressing costed designs to at-least Stage C and beyond where applicable.



Interested organisations who wish to be considered for inclusion on a formal tender short list will need to complete, and satisfy, a Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).
