Background & Qualifications
I completed my MSc in Marine Biology at the University of Gdansk, Poland in 2015. My Master thesis was on the osmoregulatory capabilities of an invasive signal crayfish Pacifastacus leniusculus in the brackish waters of the Baltic Sea.
The experience I have gained after graduation includes working in a hydrological survey team (Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute) and two Polish Antarctic expeditions (hydrological and marine observer, then expedition leader).
In June 2022 I joined the FIFD as a Scientific Fisheries Observer.
