FALKLAND ISLANDS GOVERNMENT APPOINTS GRAEME JACKSON AS DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Graeme Jackson has been appointed by Falklands Island Government as Director for Human Resources. He will arrive in the Falkland Islands accompanied by his family towards the end of January 2014.
Mr Jackson comes to the Falkland Islands Government from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and has been with the NHS for the last 3 years. He has held senior appointments with Scottish Government and the Ministry of Defence including HQ British Forces Gibraltar, the Defence Procurement Agency, RAF College Cranwell and the Royal Navy Supply and Transport Service.
Married to Diane, they have two children, Ryan (9) and Rebecca (7). Commenting on the announcement, Graeme said: “I am really excited about the opportunity to contribute to the future success and prosperity of the Falkland Islands. I am looking forward to meeting the team and learning more about the challenges and priorities”.
Graeme is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a Master of Science degree in strategic human resource management from the University of Wales. He is also a professionally-qualified project manager and member of the Association of Project Management.
