18 February 2021 - COVID-19 update: All restrictions to MPC to be lifted
Further to the announcement made on 11 February 2021, BFSAI has confirmed that MPC restrictions will be lifted from 19 February.
18 February 2021 - New Covid-19 testing requirements on travelling south to the Falkland Islands
From 1 March 2021, passengers travelling south from the UK to the Falkland Islands on the South Atlantic Airbridge, will be required to provide evidence of a negative PCR Covid-19 test, that is dated no more than five days prior to travel.

11 February 2021 - ‘Restriction on Movement’ Declaration and essential travel update
Further to recent announcements, the Declaration of Emergency restricting movements under regulations 11 and 12 has been reviewed and will continue to remain in force.
11 February 2021 - Covid-19 update: MPC Covid-19 cluster contained
On 28 January, access to MPC* was restricted after a military medic involved in quarantine surveillance swabbing tested positive for Covid-19. As part of a coordinated plan, based on medical and public health advice, non-essential facilities in MPC were closed, and only essential travel to and from MPC was permitted.
10 February 2021 - KEMH vaccination programme update
Following the first two days of the Falkland Islands vaccination programme, 663 eligible people have now received their first dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

09 February 2021 - Outer Islands and Camp vaccination programme: weather warning for 10 February
FIGAS has advised that the weather conditions are not particularly favourable for the planned vaccination flights due to take place in Camp and the Outer Islands tomorrow. The published schedule, therefore, may change.
09 February 2021 - Continuation of restricted public access at KEMH
Members of the public are politely reminded that, due to the need for KEMH to manage essential workflow and COVID19 patient traffic in the same area, no private or FIG vehicles should be parked in the KEMH access road between the Secretariat, Legal Chambers and Thatcher Drive.

The Falkland Islands Government would like to inform the public, that FIGO will be asking southbound passengers for their onward travel arrangements from MPC to Stanley, when booking a flight.
