Public Executive Council Papers

Executive Council is the policy making body of the Falkland Islands Government. It meets monthly to discuss papers put forward by Government managers on a variety of matters.

Executive Council is an exempt committee under the Committees (Access to Information) Ordinance 2000. In the spirit of openness and transparency Members decide at each meeting which papers should become public. Papers that cover personal matters, personnel issues or are commercial in confidence are not normally made public, however, on occasions such papers are made public with the removal of information that is considered exempt.
